I followed this tutorial for setting up xbee and arduino and i was successful in using potentiometer with this setup.

However i wanted to use two digital pushbuttons with this setup but failed to do so :( . The problem is that i do not know how to synchronize the data from multiple pushbuttons. For e.g When "Pushbutton 1" is pressed it should light "LED 1" and when "Pushbutton 2" is pressed it should light "LED 2"  and so on.

i need to move a a vehicle approximately 0.5kg,  powered by an arduino and 2 6V motors

but the motors arent strong enough to carry the weight.

im connecting the motors directly to the wheels. (the wheels spin fast when i lift the system up, but stalls the moment i place it on the ground)

any help as to how i can make it move ?

This forum was empty, so I thought I'd start something off in here and what better to start with than sexism?

Does anyone else's wife, or girlfriend complain when they use their spare time to build robots?

Mine does, then spends her spare time watching soap operas.

Im trying to make a robot vehicle that is able to move forward, left and right by pre programming its route.

    eg. move forward 20cm > turns 90 degress > move forward 10cm

I've read the tutorial by kawal under the quickstar page, my question is.. am i able to do this with only the arduino, without the L293D motor driver ?

    thanks in advance

As the late, great Freddie Mercury said "Look what they've done to Mike Reid".

I have no idea what the did to Mike Reid, I didn't look.

However, as you've probably guessed, I have somewhat of a Bigtrak fetish, so...

Look what they've done to Bigtrak!

    I think this'll be cool!
