Robot builder's shield V2

The Robot Builder’s Shield V2 for Arduino allows a robot builder to easily build a small robot that uses 2 small geared DC motors for driving,directly plug in 6 analog or digital sensors, directly plug in up to 6 servos and experiment with other devices on the prototyping area or a mini breadboard, like a Buzzer, LEDs, IR proximity, etc.

The robot builder's shield is designed by Robot-X(Gabriel) living in Canada.

The shield comes with the following components:

  • 1 x Robot Builder's Shield V2
  • 1 x L293D motor driver chip(can be replaced by SN755410 H-bridge)
  • 1 x 16 pin dip socket (for the above driver)
  • 3 x Two-connector screw terminals
  • 2 x 10uF 25V electrolytic capacitors
  • 3 x 0.1uF ceramic capacitors
  • 6 x 6-pin male headers (for the servos and sensors)
  • 2 x 6-pin stackable female headers (to connect to the Arduino)
  • 2 x 8-pin stackable female headers (to connect to the Arduino)
  • 1 x SMT reset button
  • 1 x SPDT switch
  • 1 x jumper (to connect Vbat to Vin, if desired)

The shield is available in three options:

  • PCB
  • Kit
  • Assembled(on request)
